Relax by the water or do the city hustle.

      Profile

The natural topography of the city pulls the Western Corridor precinct towards Darling Harbour. The waters edge, or a least a view of the harbour, is never too far away.

Grosvenor Street, York Street and Bathurst Street define the northern, eastern and southern boundaries of this precinct. The King Street Wharf marks the western edge. The JAGONAL database lists 178 properties in the Western Corridor precinct. Breaking this down into grade brackets there are two Premium sites, 24 A-Grade, 116 B-Grade and 11 C-Grade properties. The remainder are unrated.

The Queen Victoria Building sits on the cusp of the corridor. This historic icon offers all sorts of retail services ranging from high-fashion to everyday consumer goods. Clarence Street and York Street have become home to some of Sydney’s best new night spots like Uncle Mings, The Lobo Plantation and Baxters Inn. Darling Harbour is a popular setting for restaurants and after-hours entertainment. King Street Wharf hosts a number of venues such as The Malaya, Kobe Jones, Steersons Steakhouse and Cargo Bar, to name just a few.

Wynyard and Town Hall train stations feed directly into this precinct. Buses are easily accessible and Ferries arriving at Darling Harbour provide even more access. Pyrmont Bridge is a popular route for pedestrians and cyclists coming in from the west as well.
